Yes, it's really coming into reality! Japan is building a series of wooden skyscrapers, and they look amazing! Maybe I should consider drawing a few in my art haha! 
The concept artwork for the skyscrapers is just breathtaking. I'm sure that the wood will need to be termite-proofed and designed in a way that the wood won't decay too quickly.

Cool or not? What do you guys think?

So I was looking at parking garage images at night to see how they should look in a drawing, and I stumbled upon an interesting picture that led me to an old news article. It's about a building located in Miami and triples as a parking garage, venue, and private home. Read more here: www.nytimes.com/2011/01/24/us/…. As it says in the article, the top floor can be rented for $12,000 to $15,000 a night. The Miami developer had his own penthouse built on the roof of the building. Pretty amazing if you ask me. I love the concept of making parking garages look more appealing and less of an eyesore, and this seems to be the way to go.
